Pedestrian priority on campus

Walking is the primary mode of transportation, which has been significantly reduced owing to motorized transportation. Connection inside a university is critical, especially at large institutions with several buildings and departments serving diverse purposes.

This subject is significant from a variety of perspectives. When the campus area is not suitable for pedestrians, the demand for motorized transportation grows, resulting in noise, visual, and air pollution. Furthermore, routes designed for vehicles need and take a lot of land.

Pedestrian-oriented projects have a significant impact on beneficial environmental and psychological factors such as social connections, scientific discussions, and the creation of a vibrant atmosphere. Aside from these advantages, walking is important for both health and the environment.
