To sum up, today my presentation is about Building and Carbon Emission
Challenges and Solutions ,Carbon emission in the Building sector, Building assume as 40% of all global CO2 emission, This amount of emission may breakdown in to Operational emissions …. Heating, cooling, lighting and appliances and Embodied carbon: manufacture, transport and installation. Factors contributing to high carbon footprints are Energy consumption from fossil fuel,Inefficient building design and outdated technologies
, Carbon-intensive construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, aluminium), Urbanization and population growth. At the end explained The Role of Educators and Researcher in this area which are, Educators should integrate climate conscious design principles into architectural and engineering education Researchers can innovate sustainable materials, energy-efficient technologies, and smart building systems, Collaboration between academia and industry is essential for practical implementation of green building solutions, Universities can serve as living laboratories for testing and demonstrating low carbon building practices ,Publishing research and case studies to guide policy-makers, construction companies, and urban planners
