On Monday 17/2/2025, in Civil Engineering Department with the presence of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department and a number of academic staff, a seminar entitled (Water consumption per person) in Erbil City was presented by (Asst. lect. Srwa Ismaiel), is a pressing issue due to its arid climate and growing population. Erbil’s average daily water use per person is about 300-350 LPCD, significantly higher than global averages, especially in water-scarce areas. This high demand stems from urbanization, lifestyle changes, and poor water management. Tackling this challenge is vital for sustainable water use and to alleviate future water scarcity.
