Abstract : Region-based clustering validation (RCV) is an internal validation method designed to assess the quality of clustering results by analyzing the internal structure of clusters, specifically dividing them into distinct regions. Unlike traditional methods that may only use centroids, RCV evaluates density and distance within inner, middle, and outer regions of each cluster, applying penalty factors to compute an overall validity score.
