Challenges in Aviation Safety refer to the various factors that can threaten the safe operation of aircraft and aviation systems.
In simple terms, aviation safety is affected by multiple modern and traditional challenges, including:
- Business pressures that may lead to cost-cutting in maintenance or training
- Automation issues, where pilots may rely too much on systems or misunderstand them
- Drone (UAV) integration, creating risks of collision in shared airspace
- Cybersecurity threats targeting aircraft and air traffic control systems
- Bad weather conditions such as turbulence, icing, and low visibi
