Controlling water Pollution capability of fiber reinforced pervious concrete

Presenter Name: Asst. Prof. Dr. Dilshad Khither Hamadamin
On Tuesday 6/5/2025, in Civil Engineering Department with the presence of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department and a number of academic staff, a seminar entitled (Controlling water Pollution capability of fiber reinforced pervious concrete) was presented by (Asst. Prof. Dr. Dilshad Khither Hamadamin). Fiber reinforced pervious concrete helps control water pollution by allowing rainwater to pass through its porous structure, filtering out pollutants like oils and sediments. The added fibers improve strength and durability, preventing cracks and maintaining its filtration ability over time. This makes it effective for reducing runoff and improving water quality in urban areas.
